FOOD: CHICKEN VEGGIE WRAP. (SUBSTITUTE FOR SHARWAMA )

Hey y'all!! I feel like I owe you guys an apology, I'm sorry boos (kisses :*) Been hella busy. I'd make sure I drop one post every week henceforth.
Being craving Sharwama since forever but I think of my waistline and its a no-no. One day while thinking of how to sort this craving, I came up with this easy recipe it's probably the easiest there is. Without further ado, we hop into it.


INGREDIENTS
- Low-carb Lebanese flat bread (oasis supermarket or any other).
- Grilled chicken breast or turkey (cold store).
- Lettuce (local market).
- Carrot (local market).
- Cucumber (local market).
- 0% fat brown spicy mustard (oasis supermarket or any other).


-Vinegar.(optional)

PROCESS
-Season,boil and grill the chicken breast/Turkey.
-Wash and cut the vegetables as desired. (Chop the lettuce, grate the carrots, peel the skin off the cucumber then dice)


- Allow to drain. You can add some vinegar.
-Cut the Grilled chicken breast/turkey in strips.


-On a flat plate, place the flat bread and spread some of the 0% fat mustard all over evenly as desired.
-Place the chopped vegetables and chicken/turkey strips on one end of the flat bread then roll the bread up firmly.
-Place the rolled up bread in a sandwich maker/toaster for about 30 seconds and Booooooooooom! Our 'wannabe' sharwama is ready.

BROCCOLI-CARROT-TURKEY PEPPER SOUP.

Hi darlings! How y'all doing? (in fake American accent). I had the most stressful weekend but I'm alive, Glory!! Anyways, another food post ( healthy and yum of cus!!) I was craving pepper soup and wanted to incorporate some veggies in them, procedure and yadayada below. :D

INGREDIENTS
- pepper soup spice (local market)
-dry pepper (local market)
-turkey (local market)
-goat meat (local market)
-half-ripe plantain or potatoes (local market) (optional)
-broccoli (shoprite, oasis supermarket or any other supermarket)
-carrot (local market)
-garlic(local market)
-maggi
-salt




PROCESS
-spice the goat meat and turkey and boil separately as desired
-peel and boil the plantain and potatoes till its soft enough then pour in a sieve and allow to drain.
-when goat meat and turkey is cooked, dice to desired size.


-using a grater, grate a clove of garlic


-chop the broccoli and carrot to smaller desired size.


-then get a pot with some water and allow to boil.
-in the briskly boiling water, pour the pepper soup spice,dry pepper,salt,maggi and garlic allow to boil all together for about 3 minutes.
-then add the chopped turkey and goat meat allow to boil for 30seconds.
-add the plantain or potatoes (optional)
-then finally add the broccoli and carrot leave for 30seconds and whooooooop! Our pepper soup is ready.


-serve as desired with cucumber, wheat bread or whatever.
